New Orleans avoided a series sweep with the victory in the series finale, and ended a nine-game losing streak to the Dodgers at Zephyr Field that dated back to last season.
The Oklahoma City Dodgers put together a dominant second inning in a 9-2 win against the New Orleans Zephyrs Thursday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
A solo home run by Zephyrs shortstop Robert Andino broke a 2-2 tie in the top of the 10th inning, and the Zephyrs then held off the OKC Dodgers’ offense to send the Dodgers to a 3-2 loss.
